Katelyn McAvinn-Reardon is a highly skilled trauma therapist dedicated to helping individuals navigate the path toward healing and empowerment.

With a wealth of experience and a deep understanding of trauma, Katelyn offers a safe and nurturing virtual space for clients to embark on their healing journey.

As a trauma therapist, Katelyn specializes in evidence-based modalities such as Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). These powerful therapeutic approaches have proven to be effective in addressing and resolving past traumas, enabling individuals to restore their sense of self and regain control over their lives.

Katelyn’s commitment to clients goes beyond the therapy room. She believes in the transformative power of a strong therapeutic alliance, and she strives to create a warm and non-judgmental environment where clients can feel safe to explore their deepest emotions and discover their inner strength and resilience.

Drawing from her extensive experience in child protection services and social work, Katelyn brings a unique perspective to her trauma work. She understands the complexities of trauma and its impact on individuals and families, allowing her to provide comprehensive support tailored to each client’s needs.

In her former role as a trauma therapist at the PEI Rape and Sexual Assault Centre, Katelyn provides individual therapy sessions to survivors of sexualized trauma.

Katelyn’s expertise extends to facilitating the Male Survivors Group program, where she co-facilitated group therapy sessions, fostering a supportive community for survivors to connect and heal together.

With Katelyn as your guide, you can expect a personalized and integrative approach to therapy. She collaborates closely with clients, tailoring interventions to their unique needs and goals.
